How SpecificMAIL works
SpecificMAIL monitors mail as it arrives in your Outlook or Outlook Express inbox. If the mail was sent by someone listed in your Outlook contacts, or someone you have "whitelisted", SpecificMAIL lets it stay in your inbox. Otherwise, the mail goes to your Spam folder.
If you don't want to see email from someone who's listed in your contacts, you can blacklist them
Your whitelist is a list of email addresses that you trust. SpecificMAIL never blocks messages from whitelisted addresses. Your blacklist is a list of email addresses that you never want email from. SpecificMAIL always blocks messages from blacklisted addresses.

When SpecificMAIL is installed, your whitelist and blacklist are empty. You can add names to your white- and blacklists by selecting an email, and then clicking "add" in the SpecificMAIL toolbar (near the top of your Outlook window.) You can then select "Whitelist" to add the sender to your whitelist, or "Blacklist" to add the sender to your blacklist.
