Bay Bimmerz would like to thank everyone that came out to join us for our drive from Cupertino to Laguna Seca for the American Le Mans Series race. What an incredible day that was. We had close to 40 BMWs show up. From a 1973 Bavaria with triple side draft webers to a new e46 Dinan3! It is so great that we had such a huge mix of BMW's and everyone showed so much interest in each other’s car, old or new. We had a great run through the Santa Cruz Mountains with everyone helping each other out weaving through all the RV’s and Mini Vans. It was so cool to see all of the high beams flashing and hazards flashing to say thanks to the other driver that just let you squeeze into that space. One of the coolest parts of the day was when we all stopped at the peak and through the fog we see about 10 M5's and an e46 M3 honking and waving at us as they drive down the highway. One of the last cars was Mattar’s e39 M5, and we heard him push the clutch in and rev that 400hp V8 ro redline. The sound that came out of that Dinan Dual and Dinan Dual Intake was incredible! Once at the track we had an incredible day watching the e46 M3s battle it out with the Porsche's.
