This was our second event and a great Wine Tasting trip organized by Tim Ossun.  We all met in Milpitas and took over the parking lot of the Embassy Suites. We had over 30 BMWs attend. We left Embassy Suites and made our way through the very twisty, one lane, two way traffic Calaveras Rd. What a rush that was seeing BMWs take over an entire Canyon. Hearing the exhaust notes of the all the cars in front of you. Driving through the canyon and seeing nothing but green mountains surrounding you. The only down part of the drive was an incident that occurred between one of your BMWs and an on coming truck. Thankfully nobody was injured.

Once we arrived in Livermore we stopped for some wine tasting at Ivan Tomas and used their outside patio for lunch.  After our picnic lunch our very own Keith and Diana Keller at Wente gave the Royal Treatment to us. We had our own private tasting in the barrel room and then a tour of the Winery. Overall a great day especially for those of us that had never been wine tasting before. And you couldn’t ask for better weather.
